MOOK N FAIR?? HAVE YOU EVER HERD FO THEM???

Straight out of Waterbury, Connecticut is Hip-Hop’s newest dynamic duo, coming with high energy and a style all their own. This urban style which Mook N Fair call “up north crunk“, is originated from their respective blocks and tells you about their everyday struggle, all while keeping you energized. Now to properly introduce you to the artists themselves.

Raised in Waterbury, Ct 23yr old Mook and 24yr old Fair have been avid fans of Hip-Hop as long they can remember with musical influences such as Run- DMC, Outkast, 2-Pac, Notorious Big, Nas ,Jay-Z, & Krs-One just to name a few. The two grew up as neighbors on the north end section of Waterbury, which is where they met as kids.

Mook N Fair have been working together in their quest to be the next generations influence for over 13 yrs. They began their careers separately and later joined the locally recognized group called The Wolfpak in which they appeared on severa Major Mixl cd’s such as Big Mike, Dj Envy, Kay Slay, Dj Drama<>

Since then Mook N Fair have been doing major shows all over the US, in places such as New York City, Miami, LA, Atlanta, Mass, Oklahoma City, Philly, West VA, Los Angelas, Houston and New Hampshire. For other well known artist such as Lil Wayne, T.I. Young Jeezy, Swiss Beats, Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Kiesha Cole, Flo-Rida, Rakim, Slick Rick, Juelz Santana, The LOX, Trey Songz, Maino, Rich Boy, Mims, Redman, Method Man, etc.

The duo has been getting major spins on many radio stations, college radio stations, night clubs, and several internet radio shows throughout the US as well as in their home state with their first two singles “On the Low” and "Let's Get Money". They were chosen to perform at the Hartford Civic Center for the highly coveted Hot 93.7 event “Jingle Jam” in front of 15,000 screaming Connecticut and Massachusetts fans.

Aside from performing they have been featured on over 80 DJ mixtapes in the US and overseas, including the likes of Big Mike, DJ White Owl, DJ Scope, Kay Slay, DJ Juice, and DJ Ames just to name a few. They were also featured on DJ KG and DJ Semi's highly coveted release "Forever", a tribute to the Notorious B.I.G.

At the present time Mook N Fair just released their new single "Who's your Daddy" Which is already getting national exposure and are busy putting the finishing touches on their new upcoming album. All while still promoting their highly anticipated mixtape titled “The Best Kept Secret 2” set to be released in April 2009. The first one of the series, which had 24 tracks, sold over 20,000 copies in the streets independently. They have recorded, mastered, produced, and mixed at their very own studio, Galaxy Studio, and are hard at work on creating more good music for their growing fan base.
